Subversion is one of three Miscellaneous Ability tracks ; one of the three Green skills on the Ability Wheel. The others are Survivalism and Turbulence.
Subversion manipulates the enemy into turning away from the user, and encouraging them to attack someone else. It can erase Hate, generate less of it, and even transfer Hate to a Tank, and allowing them to increase their damage potential.
Unlike the normal outer ring abilities, Miscellaneous skills are available to the player immediately upon starting The Secret World. Like the other Tier 2 abilities, however, they still have the same cost, which significantly reduces their availability to starting characters.

Confuse - 9 AP
A single target ability that significantly reduces the amount of hate that target has for you for a short time.
Subtlety - 12 AP
Reduces the amount of hate you generate.
Mass Confusion - 16 AP - Targeted AoE
Significantly reduces the amount of hate nearby targets have for you for a short time.
Under the Radar - 21 AP - Passive
Whenever you critically hit or penetrate, you decrease the amount of hate generated on the target.
Misdirection - 27 AP
Transfers a large portion of the hate you generate onto your defensive target for a short time.
Kill Streak - 34 AP - Passive
Whenever you kill an enemy, your damage output is increased for a short time.
Do or Die - 50 AP - Elite
Significantly increases your damage output for a short time.
