Blade Wielded in styles and techniques from across the ages, blades are melee weapons strong in both attack and defense.

It can inflict the States of Afflicted and Impaired. Paired with Pistol or Shotgun, all four common States can be inflicted, and therefore Exploited. Blood Magic / Fist can pair with Pistol / Shotgun in the same way.

Ability - delicate strike

Delicate Strike - Active Melee Ability - A single target blade attack that deals moderate damage. Builds a weapon resource for each equipped weapon.


Ability - delicate precision

Delicate Precision - Passive Ability - Increases the chance for Delicate Strike to penetrate.


Ability - balanced blade

Balanced Blade - Active Melee Ability - A blade attack that deals a large amount of damage to enemies around you. Exploits impaired state. Consumes all blade resources.

Expose Weakness - Passive Ability - Whenever you set impaired state, you increase your chance to penetrate for a short time.


Ability - dancing blade

Dancing Blade - Active Melee Ability - A single target blade focus that channels a large amount of damage over multiple hits. Consumes all blade resources.


Ability - sharp blades

Sharp Blades - Passive Ability - Increases all damage dealt by blade abilities.


Ability - stunning swirl

Stunning Swirl - Active Melee Ability (Elite) - A blade attack that deals a moderate amount of damage and stuns nearby enemies. Sets impaired state.

Ability - blade torrent

Blade Torrent - Active Melee Ability - A blade frenzy that deals a moderate amount of damage to nearby targets and generates a large amount of hate. Builds a weapon resource for each equipped weapon.


Ability - perfect storm

Perfect Storm - Passive Ability - Blade Torrent also deals damage over time. Sets afflicted state.


Ability - martial discipline

Martial Discipline - Active Melee Ability - Makes you significantly harder to hit for a short time.


Ability - regeneration

Regeneration - Passive Ability - Martial Discipline grants you a heal over time effect.


Ability - surging blades

Surging Blades - Active Melee Ability - You dash forward dealing a large amount of damage to enemies in a column in front of you.


Ability - fluid defence

Fluid Defense - Passive Ability (Elite) - Whenever you are glanced, your mitigation is increased for a short time, and whenever you penetrate your damage output is increased for a short time.

Ability - grass cutter

Grass Cutter - Active Melee Ability - A single target blade attack that deals a moderate amount of damage. Exploits afflicted state. Builds a weapon resource for each equipped weapon.

Destiny Fulfilled - Passive Ability - Whenever you hit a target suffering from Destiny's damage over time effect, that effect is converted into a large amount of direct damage.


Ability - four seasons

Four Seasons - Active Melee Ability (Elite) - A single target blade attack that channels damage in multiple hits, with the final hit dealing increased damage. All hits are guaranteed to penetrate.

Ability - fatal flourish

Fatal Flourish - Passive Ability - After using abilities against targets you have afflicted eight times, your next attack is guaranteed to penetrate.


Ability - spiral of death

Spiral of Death - Active Melee Ability - You teleport to the target and deal a moderate amount of damage to nearby targets.

Incision - Passive Ability - Whenever you penetrate, you also apply damage over time.

Steel Echo - Active Melee Ability - For a short time after activating Steel Echo, all your blade abilities will deal an extra hit for a moderate amount of damage.

Flight of Daggers - Passive Ability (Elite) - Every fifth successful hit will activate an extra attack that deals damage over time to enemies around you. Sets afflicted state.

Voracity - Passive Ability - Increases the penetration chance of all frenzy attacks.


Ability - master's house

Master's House - Active Melee Ability (Elite) - Creates a large area around you. While inside this area, your damage and movement speed is increased and you are immune to snare and root effects.

Brandish - Active Melee Ability - A blade focus that channels a moderate amount of damage to the target and generates additional hate. While channeling, you have increased mitigation. consumes all blade resources.


Ability - brandishing support

Brandishing Support - Passive Ability - Reduces the recharge time, and increases the mitigation bonus of Brandish.


Ability - matador

Matador - Active Melee Ability - A single target blade attack that deals a moderate amount of damage and increases your mitigation. Builds a weapon resource for all equipped weapons.


Ability - riposte

Riposte - Passive Ability - Whenever an attack glances you, you hit the attacker for a moderate amount of damage.


Ability - binding wounds

Binding Wounds - Active Melee Ability - A single target blade attack that deals a large amount of damage. Exploits impaired state. Consumes all blade resources.


Ability - finish the movement

Finish the Movement - Passive Ability - Whenever you finish channeling a focus attack, you build an extra weapon resource for the weapon that activates Finish the Movement.


Ability - silver streak

Silver Streak - Active Melee Ability (Elite) - While Silver Streak is active, you are immune to crowd control effects, have increased movement speed, increased mitigation and heal yourself for a small amount every time you hit.

Tipped Scales - Passive Ability - Whenever you hit an impaired target, you get a small heal over time effect.

Saving Grace - Active Melee Ability - You charge to your defensive target and significantly reduce the amount of damage dealt by the next attack on your defensive target.

Stave Off - Passive Ability - Whenever an attack glances off you, there is a chance that the attacker is stunned and impaired for a short time.

Point of Harmony - Active Melee Ability - A channeled self heal.

On Guard - Passive Ability - Whenever you set impaired state, your mitigation is increased.

Sling Blade - Active Melee Ability - A single target blade throw that deals a moderate amount of damage and damage over time. Sets afflicted state.

Perseverance - Passive Ability - Whenever you activate a frenzy category ability, you are healed for a small amount.

Steel Palace - Active Melee Ability - A blade attack that deals a moderate amount of damage to nearby enemies. Exploits afflicted state. Consumes all blade resources.


Ability - shadow play

Shadow Play - Passive Ability - Crimson Theater also increases your mitigation.


Ability - the art of war

The Art of War - Active Melee Ability (Elite) - A blade attack that deals damage to nearby enemies and greatly increases your mitigation for a short time. Any target hit is forced to attack you and stunned. Sets impaired state.


Augments[]

Damage

  1. Two Cuts - Whenever you hit an enemy with a Blade ability, you apply the Two Cuts effect. Hitting the enemy with a Blade ability consumes this effect to deal 5 damage.

Survivability

  1. Vigour - Whenever an enemy attack glances you, you gain 15% of the damage it dealt back as healing.
