Pistols Dual pistols are medium-ranged magical firearms with a wide variety of unique tricks.

It can inflict the States of Weakened and Hindered; the second and third most effective, the best being Impaired. If Pistol or Shotgun is paired with either: Blade or Blood Magic or Fist, all four common States can be inflicted, and therefore Exploited.

Pistol was, and may still be, the only source of the "Corrupted" Weaken effect, which reduces the effectiveness of heals heal, barrier and leech effects. A boss enemy which appears multiple times in Blue Mountain, and multiple enemies in Transylvania, are particularly difficult to vanquish without this effect. Skills: Dirty Tricks, Marked, Born Leader, Magnum, Bad Break, Fear and Wonder, Chain Misery.

Players who wish to pursue other lines may have to team with a Pistol user in Blue Mountain or skip the boss until they can pick up the Pistol skills in Transylvania when they have more room for those skills.[1]

Pistol has a couple of abilities which make friendly targets immune to Weaken. Drone Support, Pistol Love. With relatively rare usefulness against normal monsters, this has potential in PvP and the tougher bosses.
