Any opinions on the colours used on this wiki? I kind of liked the black background that was originally, but I didn't like the blue colour used as it made it almost impossible to read. And I can't say I enjoy the current grey and red/pink scheme too much either.
If it was up to me I think I would go back to the black background, but find a more readable blue colour, maybe combined with some grey/white.
But that is just me. Anyone else have any opinions? –Laniala 09:11, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
I like both of the themes but your right about this current one being easier to read.StainlessX 16:05, July 13, 2012 (UTC)
yes. Ergonomy first ! :) It's true grey is not the most appealing color, but at least it make texts perfectly readable... and that's what count first (to my opinion -as a graphic designer- for web pages, always avoid plain white as plain black backgrounds).
Just a remark, while we talk about graphic interface (sorry if my english is not always good, it's not my first langage ^^)... I saw that in every abilities pages, after the description, there are always 3 big quotes ("Read more" part). To my opinion, it's useless (no one come to this page to read that) and it lower the lisibility of the whole page. I think it would be better without... But it's just a suggestion :)
- It seems the "Read more" part is something that comes from the global Wikia.com setup, and I can't find any obvious way to remove it. Might be possible though...
- As for colours, I was thinking of black or dark grey background combined with white or light grey normal text. Headers and links in blue or gold/yellow. Or something like this. But it doesn't seem changing colours is a big priority at the moment anyway as long as it is readable =) –Laniala 10:31, July 21, 2012 (UTC)
a comment Edit
"secret world" not so "secret"
"The game is now Live!" Edit
The very first thing I saw when I came to this wiki is something that should have been removed maybe a month after the game was released. We're approaching 4 years now, I'm sure we're all aware that The Secret World is live. There's also no reason to capitalize "Live". Not a good first impression for new visitors. 184.108.40.206 21:08, January 12, 2016 (UTC)
